Healing Turmeric Latte

Updated: Mar 7, 2018

You've probably heard that turmeric has incredible anti-inflammatory properties, and you might have sipped away at a turmeric latte whilst attempting to cut down of your coffee intake whilst pregnant!

Turmeric is great for your postpartum recovery and breastfeeding due its wonderful anti-inflammatory, anti fungal and antibacterial properties - it's going to give your body and immune system a much needed boost.

Here is my super easy and delicious turmeric latte recipe for you to make to help assist your postpartum recovery. I suggest making a small batch before baby arrive so it's all ready for you, or you can start enjoying it immediately.

10 serves

Ingredients

Turmeric

Ginger

Cardamon pods

Cinnamon

Fine black pepper (a must as it helps the turmeric do it's thing)

To serve

1 Mug of coconut milk (Coco Quench is the best)

1 Teaspoon of raw honey or coconut sugar

Mix all the spices together and store in an air-tight container.

Take 3/4 teaspoon of the turmeric latte mixture and mix with 1 mug of coconut milk. Heat gently (don't boil) and enjoy.
